Too many victims of storm and failed health system were not reported

“NOT ONE MORE DEATH!” On June 1, residents of Vieques denounced the failure to conduct a correct count of the deaths caused by Hurricane Maria.  A study from Harvard University recently released estimates about 4,645 deaths due to the storm, including lack of electricity and lack of medical services. In Vieques between September 5 and June 1, about 75 people died, which is about two people per week. We must improve the stability of the electricity and health services throughout PR. If you want to volunteer in Vieques, I can help put you to work. Vieques is ready for tourists and we glad to have “voluntourism”!
