Photo taken by my guest Bill Guarente, who is having is first vacation in the Caribbean. The Malecon is the oceanfront strip in Esperanza where you will find restaurants, shops, bio-bay pick-ups, food vendors and the Vieques Historical and Historical Trust museum and nature exhibits. The Maelcon was recently updated and has some of the best ocean views in Vieques, especially at sunset. The Malecon is a 5-7 minute walk from Casa de Kathy. See the map on the home page.
